| 英文描述 | Pemphigus vulgaris is an autoimmune, vesiculobullous erosive to ulcerative disorder. Most affected dogs have oral lesions. Skin lesions are common in the groin and axilla and mucocutaneous junctions. In cats, it is primarily a disease of the oral cavity, lips, nostrils, nasal philtrum, anus, prepuce and vulva. Nikolsky sign may be present. Pain, pruritus and fever may vary. Secondary pyoderma is common. Dx is by direct smears, immunoflourescence testing, skin biopsy, and clinical signs. Histology shows suprabasal epithelial acantholysis and cleft formation. Complete shedding of the nails may occur. Rare in horses. |
